Airbnb — Exaggeration Campaign
A collaborative advertising project created with Caitlin for a first-year creative advertising brief. We were assigned Airbnb and tasked with taking one product feature and exaggerating it across a three-ad campaign.
Rather than taking the obvious route, Caitlin and I dug into a more human truth — that Airbnb feels so much like home that some people simply never leave. From that insight we built a campaign around the idea of guests who have moved in without realising it. The three ads show an overstayer who has put his name on the letterbox, a guest mid-way through redecorating, and a close-up of post forwarded to an Airbnb address marked "(via Airbnb)."
The campaign runs on a single line: Feel at home, anywhere. (Maybe too at home.)
